Classroom Management

The “Clip Chart” is one of the best tools I have for keeping students on track.  I’ve been using it for a couple of years now and it has changed the nature of class disruptions in a positive way.  This was not my idea.  It’s something I came across while searching for ideas on the web.

This is my “Music Class Community” center. Student monitors put clips on our clip chart at the beginning of class. I use this during class as much as possible to praise positive behavior and help keep my students focused on learning about and experiencing music.
